On Friday 10th June 2016 Robert Stuart Ltd was visited by the Prime Minister, David Cameron and our local MP, Robert Halfon. During his visit Mr Cameron met the management and processing staff and discussed the importance of the aerospace sector to the UK economy.
The visit to the company’s site, for a tour of the manufacturing area, was as a result of Robert Stuart Ltd’s position as a major supplier to Airbus. Robert Stuart Ltd has supplied parts to every Airbus ever flown. Every minute of the day somewhere in the world 27 Airbus aircraft take off and in the last twenty years over 8 billion passengers have flown on aircraft assembled with parts treated at the Robert Stuart Ltd Harlow facility; that is more than the entire world population.
